Independence Day 2013-India
Independence Day is celebrated in India on 15th August every year.A day on which National Holiday is declared by the government of India.As now Independence Day 2013 is here and many people have started for the celebration of it,whether it is a students or any Army officer both will be going to give out the best shoot but this is shameless to say that even it has been 65 year of Independence Day celebration,then also their are many who even don't know why we are celebrating it ? Many of it take it has a public holiday on which they will be going for a outing with friends or families,they doesn't take care of this proud day.
15th August 1947 is a day on which India was able to get rid of British Empire.India were able to get freedom from the nonviolence and civil disobedience created by the Britishers,we were able to get freedom just because of creating a huge independence movement under the Indian National Congress Party.It was impossible without great leader Mahatma Gandhi,the one who took India as a whole and make this movement a great success.
India was struggling for its Independence from 1857 with the Sepoy Mutiny in Meerut and it was a very long time to get Independent.
And,you will not be knowing this also as that on 15th August 1947 was the day only on which partition was happened and Pakistan was names a new country.
Independence Day 2013 will be 66th Year of continuous celebration of the Independence Day.This day is celebrated all among the India and yes celebration is different from place to place.Each and every person of India feels proud and memorize the leader's who give out their life for the freedom of India nation.
On this year also Independence Day 2013 will be celebrated in the same way from which is has been celebrated.The flagship event will be take place in the Red Fort,Delhi by the Prime Minister of India i.e. Manmohan Singh and will be continued with a inspiring speech from the same.After this Army officers will be doing parade on the India Gate and it will be going to end by lightning and flowering to the statues of martyr out there,the place is also known as Amar Jawan Jyoti.
The above is what done officially but their is a lot which of celebration done by the people of India.Various celebrations took place in the schools and colleges where students perform skits,skits,dances and sing patriotism songs.Parades took place in each city.People with Flag in hands and some also decorate out their vehicles with flags to show out the love of them toward their country whereas some show love by playing patriotism songs with loud speakers.
Children also show out their love by flying kites,having color of their national flag.
